The Role
The Customer Strategy Manager will be responsible for monitoring overall performance and development of strategy for retail customer and retail deposit portfolios.
To support this, the candidate must be data-driven - able to understand and further refine the metrics and levers which drive key business outcomes of the retail portfolio.
The candidate must be able to develop short-term tactical plans and long-term strategies based on insights derived from the portfolio.
He / she will be working with multiple business units (Acquisition, Cross-sell, Customer, Experience, Products, and Analytics teams) to develop as well as enable strategic portfolio plan.
How you'll contribute
- Develop and refine internal and external (customer & deposit) portfolio strategy on an ongoing basis. Including ongoing market benchmarking to determine strategy competitiveness versus other industry partners.
- Develops, designs and continuously refines the CMO financial metrics to track metrics that are linked to strategic themes for SBU.
- Explores, develops, designs and continuously refines new FMO metrics better aligned to the customer-centric goal of the bank including the measurement of new product bundles / initiatives as well as cross-sell.
- Work with business units / teams to execute key strategic initiatives based on the short-term and long-term strategic priorities of the retail plan.
What we’re looking for
- 3 - 6 years of experience in development of strategies for retail customer and retail deposit portfolios.
- Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering / Management Engineering, Analytics, Technology, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance / Accountancy / Economics.
- Ability to formulate and lead strategic initiatives based on blended understanding of business context (qualitative) mixed with technology and data (quantitative).
- Must be able to lead, govern and manage people of varying ranks, expertise and tenure to ensure delivery of key strategic initiatives in cross functional teams.
- Excellent data storytelling and presentation skills both verbal and written. People-sensitive communicator with the ability to adjust to varied audiences.
- Able to maintain relationships with various teams and business units.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
