Job Description

Facilities & Infrastructure Enterprise Management Office (FEMO) is responsible for leading corporate F&I initiatives and maintaining Enterprise-level F&I requirements and is looking for a Senior Business Professional to lead financial management of the investment portfolio of work.

The investment portfolio of work consists of Major Construction Projects (MCPs) and General Plant Projects (GPPs). This position will require significant interface between Capital Projects Construction Department, Financial Services, Procurement, and the Site DMOs.

This individual will be responsible for budget management and performance metrics. Budget management involves baseline integration for investment funds, understanding monthly accruals, DCR creation and issuance, and reporting out on monthly financial performance metrics.

This individual will also support other corporate FEMO deliverables like the Real Property Planning Estimate (RPPE) and the Asset Bins.

In addition, this individual will interface with the Site DMOs. The ideal candidate should have experience with Hyperion Planning, DCRs, excel manipulation, and budget planning and management.

The selected candidate will be in a unique position to regularly interface with Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) senior leadership and Naval Reactors.

This position may require some travel.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 6 years of relevant experience; orMaster's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments for all aspects of work with minimal direction from management
  • Strong communication skills with test teams, management, and ability to support teams.
  • NNL budget system and TWP Knowledge
  • Previous experience with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft applications, including Power Apps and Power Bi experience

Pay Range

$76,400.00 - $117,000.00 annually

Salary information provided is a general guide line only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.

Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities : Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A.

Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston.

FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations. For nearly 70 years, the Naval Nuclear Laboratory has developed advanced nuclear propulsion technology, provided technical support, and trained world-class nuclear operators to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our nation's submarine and aircraft carrier Fleets.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is a national asset solely dedicated to the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. We rely on the dedication and innovation of our nearly 8000 engineers, scientists, technicians, and support personnel.
