Guidehouse seeks a dynamic, experienced Consultant to join its Business Transformation solution team. In this role, you will act as a strategic advisor and facilitator responsible for supporting our federal client with an organizational transformation.

Additionally, this role will have team management responsibility. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop strategic plans, performance metrics, and reporting mechanisms, support organizational effectiveness activities such as SOP development and process improvement.

The ideal candidate will have prior commercial or public sector consulting experience, exceptional interpersonal skills, strong facilitation and deliverable oversight and development skills.

Experience working with acquisition or procurement organizations and understanding of federal procurement processes and policies is a plus.

What You Will Do

Guidehouse seeks a managing consultant with at least 5-7 years of direct experience supporting organization transformation projects.

This position requires experience developing strategic plans and frameworks, performance scorecards, SOPs, process maps, facilitating strategy sessions, and organization design.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and streamline the standing up of a new organization and new processes and implement new strategic plans and objectives
  • Coordinate and manage the exchange of information, documents, and data.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (i.e., Federal Acquisition Regulation)
  • Assist in the development of tools and processes to improve an organization's effectiveness
  • Support the integration of acquired entities by collaborating with internal teams to align processes, systems, and culture.
  • Monitor and track the progress of strategic plans and KPIs
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging opportunities for potential organizational improvements
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Communicate with all levels of an organization and prepare engaging and dynamic briefings for senior executives.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews on written work products.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of Guidehouse strategic planning, facilitation, and organization transformation methodologies and tools.
  • Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and / or other thought leadership materials.

What You Will Need

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting organization transformation projects.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven experience leading small teams and interfacing directly with executive leaders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate complex business environments and manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to write and edit reports, create briefings for senior executives, research and write articles, and customize content for various audiences.
  • Proficient use of the suite of Microsoft Office products.

What Would Be Nice To Have

  • Industry-recognized certifications, such as the Project Management Professional.
  • Federal acquisition experience or understanding.

The annual salary range for this position is $98,400.00-$196,900.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
