We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to serve as a Classroom Nurse within our Mod / Severe Program.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of our students in a supportive educational setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct health care and support to students in the Moderate / Severe Special Education Program.
- Administer medications, manage chronic health conditions, and perform routine medical procedures as required.
- Monitor and record students health status, including vital signs, and document any changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure comprehensive care and support for each student.
- Develop and implement individualized health care plans in coordination with the educational team.
- Provide health education to students and staff, focusing on specific needs and general wellness.
Qualifications :
- Valid California LVN license.
- Associate's degree or diploma in Vocational Nursing from an accredited program.
- Experience working with students with special needs or in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle medical emergencies and adapt to a dynamic classroom environment.
