Overview
The firm’s fast‑paced RFP and Pitch team has an opening for a Senior Proposal Writer . The candidate will primarily focus on drafting, editing, and coordinating content for RFP responses and pitches. This position will sit in Atlanta, Birmingham, or New Orleans with hybrid / remote options and minimal travel.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate proposal process from intake to submission, including reviewing and analyzing requests.
- Perform initial research on the company and maintain proposal tracker and pitch files.
- Hold kick‑off calls with attorney stakeholders and draft, assemble, and proofread submissions.
- Communicate with attorneys and other departments to ensure proposal requirements are met.
- Search firm databases for relevant experience to include in proposals.
- Provide weekly / monthly reporting on RFP team statistics to leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.5+ years of relevant legal business development and marketing experience.3+ years of proposal writing experience.Strong writing, proofreading, analytical, and detail skills.Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.Ability to multitask, adapt to shifting priorities, and act with urgency.Basic online research skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, and InterAction.Experience with proposal data platforms (e.g., Foundation, QorusDocs).Experience with Adobe InDesign.Benefits
