Your New Role
Develop materials for DC Studios across television, film, and animation; lead and supervise production.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Supervises development of material and projects.
- Generates notes documents for projects in all stages of production : development through post-production.
- Maintains and compiles lists of writers, directors, and actors developed internally.
- Attends and participates in creative meetings. Coordinates and follows up on resulting ideas and projects.
- Participates in discussions involving TV / film-related areas, such as crew, casting, and music.
- Leads research and coordinates various projects as assigned.
- Evaluates and meets with new writers, directors, producers, actors, and production crews for use in DC Studiosprojects.
- Responsible for supervising activities and staff members in job tasks.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience with International and Domestic TV markets preferred (5-10 years).
- Sufficient knowledge / experience with TV and film production in order to maintain proper control.
- Thorough knowledge (and experience) of TV and film development and deal-making, and the ability to make suggestions relating to merchandising and marketing.
- Must be able to locate, nurture, and formulate ideas for new talent.
- Must be able to research and coordinate various projects.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other shared document systems.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with executives and members of the creative community.
- Must be able to reason through issues, resolve problems and make recommendations.
- Must be able to review, analyze, and respond to script submissions.
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
- Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
Must be able to travel for long periods of time domestically and internationally; a valid passport and driver’s license are required.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
