Shift : Various Shifts Available (Day, Evening, Night)
Responsibilities
- Works independently and conducts polysomnographic testing.
- Safely operates medical equipment used to record sleep / wake physiology.
- Explains procedures, prepares patients and applies recording devices.
- Monitoring polygraph recordings and audio / visual equipment to ensure patient safety, test quality, sleep / wake data and other physiological events.
Qualifications
- National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire or
- National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year of Experience as a polysomnographic technologist; 2 years preferred.
Preferred qualifications :
- Associate's Degree in Polysomnography.
- Membership in Association of Polysomnographic Technologist (APT) or American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) upon hire.
