Estate Planning Paralegal
Our client, a well-established law firm with a respected reputation in estate planning and probate law, is seeking a skilled and motivated Estate Planning Paralegal to join their Richmond, Virginia team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced paralegal to advance their career in a supportive and client-focused legal environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters.
- Prepare and organize legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Manage client files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
- Conduct client intake and maintain regular communication with clients regarding case updates.
- Coordinate with financial institutions and other third parties as needed for case progression.
- Assist in gathering, organizing, and summarizing documents and evidence for estate and probate cases.
- Collaborate with attorneys to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow within the estate planning team.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience as a paralegal , with a focus on estate planning and probate matters.
- Residency in Richmond, Virginia , or a willingness to relocate.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic legal environment.
