Summary
We are looking for a Senior Budget Analyst to join our non-profit client in this hybrid role. In this position, you will assist in facilitating the preparation and review of annual operating budgets, monthly forecasts, reporting and monthly variance analysis. Apply today!
Compensation
The annual salary range is $80,000-$95,000 depending on experience. Benefits include 90% paid medical / dental / vision for employees, 403b Retirement Plan, 4 weeks PTO accrual for new employees, and 15 paid holidays.
Hours and Location
This is a hybrid role; you will be expected to work in the Denver (Northeast Park Hill) office 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
Facilitating budget preparation, review, and variance analysis.
Reviewing budgets to proactively manage risks and solutions.
Forecasting financials to ensure cash flow and reserves.
Preparing and managing journal entries.
Auditing accounting data for compliance and accuracy.
Keeping abreast of finance and grant administration developments for strategic planning.
Enhancing advanced Excel and not-for-profit accounting skills.
Complying with financial regulations, particularly for grants and donations.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of related experience in an accounting / finance department
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Must have ERP experience
- Non-profit experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V-look ups, sum-ifs) and modeling
- Power BI experience preferred
