Job Description :
- Prepare and negotiate a wide range of corporate and transactional documents, including entity formation and governance documents, operating agreements, supply agreements, purchase agreements, compliance documents, and merger and acquisition documents.
- Represent clients in negotiations for various business transactions, ensuring their interests are protected.
- Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all legal documents and transactions.
- Interact effectively with clients, providing legal advice and guidance on corporate and transactional matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders in a team-oriented environment to achieve client objectives.
- Conduct legal research and analysis as needed to support client matters.
- Stay updated on developments in corporate law and industry trends.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Illinois.
- 4-8 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on transactional matters.
- Strong knowledge of corporate and transactional law principles and practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to represent clients effectively in business transactions.
- Detail-oriented with a solid work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and client service.
Education :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Experience :
4-8 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on transactional matters.
Certifications :
Active license to practice law in Illinois.
