• This position will be responsible for creating andmanaging estimates in the commercial and industrial space and ispart of our premitigation and preconstruction estimatingteam.
• The responsibilities include preparingbudgets estimates and prebid packages through Xactimate ROMS NTETime & Material and other relevant methods.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS :

• Producesaccurate & timely estimates by using estimating softwaresuch as Xactimate or
• Symbility or creating aRough Order of Magnitude
• Proficient inutilizing estimating platforms sketch functions
• Perform job walkthroughs and create a damageassessment
• Produces project documentation thatclearly identifies the building in its current condition and theextent of the damage
• Works with the projectmanagement team to create a project budget & productionschedule
• Assists the project management teamwith the creation of a Job Hazard Assessment (JHA)
• Capable of working on several large projectssimultaneously
• Assists the project managementteam with the creation of change orders to the original scope ofwork
• Assists the Project Coordinator with thecreation of project invoices
• Strongcommunication skills and capable of communicating with clientsinsurance carriers advisors stake holders and all other involvedparties.
• Works with the Project Manager tomaintain schedule and budgets.
• Must live inthe Northeast region of the country and be flexible to travel oftenfrequently and on short notice in that geographic location andsurrounding areas.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Requires 46 years of relatedexperience.
• Proficient inXactimate.
• Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.
• Familiar with standardconcepts practices and procedures within the restoration field andreconstruction filed.
• Proven experience withestimating on large fullscale projects and constructionestimating.
• General knowledge of MicrosoftOffice Applications (Word Excel and Outlook).
• Possession of a valid Drivers License.
• Flexible to travel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

• Ability to climb stairs scaffold andladders.
• Able to crawl through attics andcrawlspaces as needed.
• Ability to bend squatlift frequently and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Be available 24 / 7 / 365 to handle any emergency whennecessary

WORKENVIRONMENT :

• Mayoccasionally work in temperatures above 100 degrees or below 32degrees.
• May occasionally work on slippery oruneven surfaces.
• Noise level in the workenvironment is frequently loud.
• Must work inenvironments such as smoke wind water Category 2 and 3 water andfire.
