This is a per diem position for an Per Diem Phlebotomist. You will be responsible for the following :

• Provides phlebotomy of patients
• Performs EKG’s as needed
• Obtains routine / emergency specimens
• EKG as ordered by the Licensed Independent Practitioners
• Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care.
• Assumes responsibility for maintaining unit safety and security and patient safety during whole performing blood draws and EKG’s.
• Participates as an interdisciplinary treatment team member and assists patients in managing activities of daily living, and in working toward their treatment plan goals

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED required.

• Phlebotomy & EKG experience is preferred.
• BLS is required
