Job Description

Olsson offers its clients a full spectrum of water and wastewater services, including a complete line of planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services.

Maintaining water quality is Olsson’s number one concern, and we are able to respond to a broad set of client demands in a timely and cost-effective manner.

As a Senior Engineer on the Water / Wastewater team, you’ll provide various engineering and project management duties related to evaluating, designing, and constructing projects.

You may assist with developing the project scope and schedule, project documentation, and reviewing shop drawings. Types of wastewater projects typically include piping extensions and rehabilitation, new pump stations and rehabilitation, treatment plant rehabilitation for various types of treatment processes, and new treatment plant projects.

Travel may be needed to job sites for observation in all types of terrain and weather conditions, as well as project sites in various stages of construction.

Opportunities to mentor younger or less experienced staff may be available along with client relations.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • At least 10 years of related water / wastewater experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer.
  • Experience in AutoCAD or other related software experience.
  • Passion for detailed work.
  • Experience with modeling software.

Typical salary range for this position is $117,000 to $161,000+ and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
