Datacenter Technician

Volt is immediately hiring for a Data Center Technician in Reno / Sparks NV

As a Data Center Technician, you will be :

• 100% focused on decommissioning old servers.
• Validation if assets / servers in the rack match the equipment listed in ticket.
• Removing hard drives from assets / servers, disconnecting cables and other attached equipment
• Following drive / asset tracking process in asset tracking database tool
• Removing servers / devices from the cabinets
• Potential for individuals to work through an iPad and the iOS app.
• Palletizing assets, moving assets with a pallet jack, strapping assets to a pallet to move, etc
• standing for prolonged periods of time, potentially for an entire 8-hour shift
• Lifting moderately heavy equipment and organizing on pallets for further processing

This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity.

Location : Reno / Sparks NV

Duration : 6 Months

Work Schedule : Mon-Fri 7am 4pm

Pay Range : $19-$20 Per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
