Our client is looking to hire a Service Manager in the South Lake, TX area. This person will be directly responsible and accountable for the actions and performance of all employees involved in providing services to the Company’s customers.
This person will spend 80% or more of their time in the field supervising, teaching, mentoring and counseling with Techs and Helpers.
They will have clear and concise communication with Company Management both verbally and in written form as required by the situation.
Other responsibilities include :
- Engage in the development and implementation of the Company’s annual operating business plan and budget.
- Effectively participate in the communication of the Business Plan and key operating metrics to Techs and Helpers.
- Monitor key performance indicators of Techs and Helpers on a weekly basis and take immediate action as required to address unsatisfactory performances.
- Maintain acute familiarity with Company policy and procedure with particular emphasis on the Employee Handbook. Assure Techs and Helpers are familiar with same and compliant.
- Utilize the Company’s discipline policy with employees. Briefly summarized, this policy stipulates a verbal warning on the first infraction, a written warning on the second infraction and a written reprimand and possible consequences on the third infraction.
All written disciplinary actions must be reviewed and approved by President.
Responsible for securing the Company’s assets, tools, materials, vehicles, warehouse and its contents. Reports non-functioning tools and equipment immediately verbally and in writing.
Reports damage to vehicles and / or other assets immediately. All notices made to President verbally and in writing.
Assist and play primary role in recruiting and on-boarding of new Techs and Helpers.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience working as a Lead Electrician with multiple direct reports
- Experience selling to in-home customers
- Maintain license issued by TDLR as Master Electrician’s License
- Possess and maintain current Texas Driver License
- Experience working in the Residential Electrical space preferably with Home Generators, EV Chargers, or Pool Equipment
- Pass initial and subsequent drug tests and criminal background checks.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Compensation :
$100,000 per year annual salary.
