Position Summary

As a senior MQ / ACE engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance and monitoring of IBM MQ and

ACE(formerly known as IBM Integration Bus or IIB) environment. They play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security

of message queueing systems within the organization.

Required Qualifications

10+ years experience as an MQ Series Administrator and familiar with all aspects of MQ administration.

10+ years of experience in MQ Series 9.X features- Strong knowledge of MQ objects such as Queues, Channels, Clustered Queues, etc.

10+ years of experience with MQ Clustering variants, PUB / SUB, and Client-access architectures

10+ years of experience with MQ security aspects : Channel security, SSL, authentication & authorization mechanisms

10+ years experience with Red Hat Linux or any other flavor of Linux (inc. shell-scripting)

10+ years of experience with security hardening of IBM MQ to include TLS encryption and Authority / Authentication Records

10+ years of experience monitoring execution and performance of messaging applications.

10+ years of experience with MQ installs (z OS and distributed) - z OS experience is must

10+ years of experience using JCL (Job Control Language) to run batch jobs

10+ years of experience using automation with Ansible automation (for middleware platforms)

10+ years experience on IIB administration who is able to do configuration changes, deployments and Broker setup.

Install and Configure IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Software in development, test and production environments

10+ years experience monitoring and maintaining the health of IIB environments to ensure high availability and performance

10+ years of experience implementing and managing security protocols and policies in IIB environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with other middleware technologies such as Active MQ or Rabbit MQ

Ansible automation

Education-

Bachelor degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience(HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is :

$124,372.50 - $247,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
