Overview

Responsible for managing day-to-day operations to mitigating credit risk on collateral the company receives and monitoring collateral posted to optimize the company's positions.

Responsibilities include reporting on statutory deposits, Special California Deposits, compliance review of current Trusts in place, and monitoring collateral company wide.

Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.

Responsibilities

Report the Company's collateral positions and report on Trusts from all AmTrust companies, to mitigate the risks and confirm full collateralization.

  • Perform quarterly credit risk tests on various trusts within for U.S. and UK entities.
  • Report Letters of Credit posted for Reinsurance and Schedule F purposes on a quarterly basis for financial reporting.
  • Review and approve bank fees for Letters of credit and collateral trust accounts.
  • Update and manage the Letters of credit inventory and report to the reinsurance team to populate the Ceded Reserve report.
  • Update and optimize collateral positions for statutory deposits, SCASP deposits for all US entities. Work hand in hand with the investments group to provide eligible securities to each state to maintain our collateral requirement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all the state Treasurer offices.
  • Respond to internal and external audit requests and lead SOX reviews.
  • Monitor and analyze cash levels in real estate operating accounts to confirm AIIL real estate loans are being covered on a quarterly basis.
  • Develop and manage FHLB program and relationship to borrow cash as needed. Provide weekly report on FHLB eligible securities across various accounts.
  • Perform other treasury administration projects as assigned.
  • Maintain corporate collateral policies and procedures and ensure that compliance is maintained.
  • Keeps current with market trends and demands.
  • Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting OR equivalent education required.
  • 3+ years related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with superior problem-solving ability.
  • Strong familiarity with Clearwater. Advanced experience with Excel.
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems,

Preferred :

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred.

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $135,000 / year. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York.

Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics.

This range may be modified in the future.
