About The Position
A hospital with an onsite clinic is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage.
Brunswick, Maine, offers a mix of outdoor and cultural activities. You can explore the scenic beauty of the Androscoggin River by kayaking or biking along the riverfront trails.
For a cultural experience, visit the Bowdoin College Museum of Art or catch a live performance at the Maine State Music Theatre.
Downtown Brunswick is also perfect for strolling, with its charming shops, cafes, and restaurants.
This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, with four days dedicated to patient care and one administrative or office day per week.
Weeknight call is required every third day, with a weekend call rotation of 1 : 4. The focus will be on general GI cases.
Board Certification in Gastroenterology is required for this role. While candidates with a Maine license or those eligible for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) are preferred, it is not a strict requirement for consideration.
Dates Needed : September for 3 to 6 months or until permanent provider is hired
