OPS Consulting is seeking a Microelectronics Engineer to work in Laurel, MD.

Applicant shall have expertise and / or experience in semiconductor fabrication, including process development in metal and dielectric deposition / etch, semiconductor failure analysis, semiconductor metrology, photolithography, water scale advanced packaging, CMP or semiconductor product development.

Expertise in microelectronics / semiconductor fabrication and advanced packaging : physical / chemical vapor deposition; dielectrics (including spin-on dielectrics), metals, superconducting materials, dry / wet etch processing, photolithography, failure analysis, semiconductor metrology, CMP, FEOL / BEOL, semiconductor product development, process control and sustainment.

Required Experience :

At least eight (8) years of related experience

Desired Experience :

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience in fabricating superconducting devices and advanced packaging.

Desired Skills :

A bachelor's degree in an acquisition related field and professional certification at any level from a recognized institution is desired, but not required.

In lieu of the bachelor's degree and certification, DAWIA III or PMP, an additional two (2) years of directly related experience for a total of ten (10) years may be substituted.

FACTS experience is preferred.

Security Clearance :

A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
