Toolmaker Fourslide / Punch-Press
Candidate must have the ability to design & manufacture tooling both hard & soft for multiple departments using tool room equipment like surface grinders, laths, mills, etc.
Must also be able to setup the Punch Press or Fourslide machines. Performs 1st Article Inspections. Must be capable of using all measuring equipment to verify that parts are being made to the blueprint & the customer specifications.
- Extensive knowledge of blueprints and of all materials
- Ability to read all blueprint notes, callouts, tolerances & specifications
- Operator must be able to check parts with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, optical comparators)
- Strong math skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
