Director, Infrastructure Operations
The Director of Infrastructure Operations is a leadership role tasked with guiding a diverse organization of engineers and managers.

This role encompasses the management of design and application of information systems, coordination of daily operations, and the development of comprehensive service management solutions.
This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, leadership, strategic thinking, and effective communication to drive organizational success and innovation.
What you will do :
Present technology options to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Be an expert in various domains and guide others in technology selection.
Mentor team members and managers, including those outside the immediate team.
Build strong teams and define goals to address business needs.
Deliver solutions to problems affecting the entire business unit.
Influence and collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams.
Lead stakeholder collaboration and contribute expertise to solve complex issues; advise stakeholders through business changes and apply emerging technology trends.
Develop and guide the creation of clear communication materials for technical concepts.
Encourage innovative approaches to enhance technical communication.
Review skill requirements and ensure adequate training across teams, and facilitate personal and career development, cross-team movement, and build key relationships.
Create contingency plans for resource continuity.
Partner with leaders to solve problems and support them through practice communities.
Hold accountability for departmental goals and manage the product development lifecycle.
Who you are :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience
10+ years of experience , 5+ years spent in people management roles, including managing other people managers.
Experience in making and applying technology decisions within and across teams.
Experience implementing selected technologies and managing multiple technical domains.
Experience in infrastructure operations measured with KPIs and operating with clear service level and operational level agreements.
The total cash range for this position in Austin is $187,500 to $263,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $300,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $170,000 to $238,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $272,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $187,500.00 to $262,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $300,000.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
