The University of Illinois Springfield, located in a mid-sized metro area, is seeking a full-time Senior Data Analyst to assist with the following :

- Provide comprehensive report writing and data analytics to support institutional decision-making related to financial aid for students, Enrollment Management strategic planning, and overall Financial Aid assessment and effectiveness.
- Develop interactive and intuitive data visualizations that apply the concept of using data to tell a story for use in websites, regular reports, and presentations to campus leadership and other constituents.
- Work with AITS to develop compliance reports and provide support for all Financial Aid data reporting related to compliance with the US Department of Education and other external agencies.
No travel is expected for this position.
This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in an analytical area, such as physical sciences, social sciences, computer sciences, IT, computer engineering, management information systems, or related fields, 2 years of experience directly related to the responsibilities of the position, and knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Web Intelligence, Excel, Access, and / or statistical and data analysis tools e.
g. SPSS, R, Python, or at least knowledge in any similar tools.
