The Warehouse Counter performs superior customer service by issuing parts out based on request from work orders, trouble calls, or customers arriving at the counter;
immediately and accurately document movement of items within system.
Shift- Mon- Fri (3 : 30p-11 : 30p)
Position Responsibilities
- Issuing parts based on request from work orders and cost center orders
- Responding to trouble calls or customers arriving at counter
- Immediately document movement of items into system
- Follow procedure on special item issuance or IMEP restrictions
- Notify planners and management about PIAC status
- Notify planner and management when parts need to be placed in block status
- Document all part returns, credits, transfers, and erroneous transactions
- Pick orders as requested
- Perform all bin balances of 10 or less and document it has been checked
Transport orders as requested
- Document discrepancies of bin balances vs system count
- Perform daily Inventory Cycle Counts inside the main stockroom
- Perform bin maintenance and new receipt put away
- Keep area clean and organized at all times
- Perform other duties assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
Required
- High School Diploma / GED equivalent required
- PC Experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Previous warehouse management systems (WMS) experience preferred
- Basic math and reading skills necessary
- Detailed oriented with the ability to perform multiple task in fast moving environment
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to follow oral and / or written instruction
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external customers
