job_description.job_card.job_descriptionSource and procure hardware (e.g., paint / coatings, gaskets / seals, etc.) and MRO materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to optimize costs and quality. Monitor and manage inventory levels, coordinating with maintenance and inventory teams for replenishment. Create and track purchase orders, resolving discrepancies in shipments, pricing, or quality. Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to align purchasing with project needs. Maintain accurate ERP / MRP data (Microsoft Dynamics D365 preferred) and reconcile supplier invoices. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support corrective actions for defective materials. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Management. 2+ years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment. Proficiency with ERP / MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics D365 preferred). Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. APICS CPIM certification is a plus.

Industrial manufacturer seeking a Commodity Buyer, focusing on procuring hardware and Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) materials used for engineered-to-order / fabrication projects. You will source and purchase materials, negotiate with vendors, manage inventory, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational efficiency.
- Anticipate $70K-$80K (+ / -), based on experience
- Onsite Monday-Thursday (8-5 or similar), remote work on Friday
- Full suite of benefits, health insurance, 401K, PTO, etc.
- CPIM certification a plus (APICS / ASCM)
