We are now accepting resumes for our Senior Manager, Lending Collateral Administration.The successful candidate for this crucial position will have the skills and experience necessary to fulfill the following responsibilities :

  • Responsible to manage the enterprise wide collateral, insurance and escrows for commercial and consumer loans, including complex commercial and syndications.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive collateral management strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Overall responsibility for the due diligence aspects of collateral in the origination process, as well as force placed insurance, optional insurance, escrow processing, etc.
  • Responsibilities include Insurance review, monitoring and exception clearing.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with collateral management.
  • Responsible to maintain compliance with all banking laws and regulations.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve collateral management processes and systems to increase efficiency, reduce costs and enhance control.
  • Work closely with enterprise-wide lending groups, risk management, operations, and technology teams to ensure seamless collateral operations.
  • Manages reports and provide reporting to varies business partners as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards related to collateral management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals.
  • Ensure overall business objectives are being met.
  • Responsible to hire, fire and conduct staff performance reviews.

Qualifications :

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or a related degree and 10+ years of banking, loan processing, collateral management and processing, liens, insurance, escrows or other directly related experience.
  • Managerial experience required.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Requires an extensive knowledge of collateral management, insurance and escrow, lending operations principles, processes and systems.
  • Ability to understand various types of collateral, lien perfection and maintenance of lien positions.
  • Knowledge of UCC filing requirements.
  • Excellent analysis, problem resolution and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent understanding of risk management principles.
  • Ability to work with both internal and external clients.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to assess and identify the inherent risks.
  • Working knowledge of related computer systems and software applications.
  • Excellent management skills.
