Job Summary :

As a Surveillance Officer, you will support the overall integrity of gaming and the protection of all guests, employees, and Company assets.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
  • Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
  • Monitor Table Games and Electronic Gaming Device activity, Armored Car pick-up and all areas where Chips and Vouchers are issued and redeemed, Count Room Procedures, as well as all other non-gaming areas throughout the property, including but not limited to the entrance and exits
  • Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of Bally's Chicago Operating Co.

LLC System of Internal Controls

  • Report irregularities, unusual, and suspicious activities to the Surveillance Supervisor or Surveillance Shift Manager, Director of Surveillance, and the Illinois Gaming Board Docksite Supervisor / Agent
  • Monitor and safeguard company assets
  • Protect the overall integrity of gaming at the casino
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
  • Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have above-average math skills
  • Must have strong organizational and decision-making abilities
  • Must have excellent customer and employee relations skills
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holiday

Physical Demands :

  • Frequently required to walk stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Frequently required to define color
  • Occasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet high
  • Frequently required to lift items up to 25 pounds
  • Frequently required to reach overhead
  • Occasionally required to work in confined, small areas for long periods of time

Work Environment :

You may be exposed to bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations in this position.
