Job Title : Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Work may include product assembly, inspection, and shipping and receiving duties. Must have some plating experience. Responsibilities include :

• Working with tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) and small intricate parts.
• Reading SOPs and following a detailed set of instructions.
• Basic and customized assembly of small mechanical components.
• Occasionally using a microscope or magnifying glass for intricate assembly processes.
• Rarely lifting up to 50 pounds; regular lifting is around 10-20 pounds.
• Performing step-by-step inspection to ensure customer specifications are met and all steps are completed correctly and in the right order.
• Using fixtures, tools, and performing some basic testing of components and finished products.

Hard Skills

• Plating experience
• Ability to work with tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)
• Ability to read SOPs
• Basic and customized assembly of small mechanical components
• Step-by-step inspection and testing

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Climate controlled, similar to a clean room. Very controlled, clean assembly area. Assembly of electronic / mechanical tubes and scopes.
