Description
The primary function of the Field Sales Person- Stationary Power is to develop new customers to sell Stationary Power Solutions
- Represent Viking Power in a professional manner
- Maintain a positive attitude and act in a moral and ethical manner
- Sell all facets of Stationary Power to existing motive power customers, customers of Shoppa’s Toyota and New customers developed by the individual salesperson.
- Be clear and concise in communication to other departments.
- Have a can-do attitude to help the success of the team.
- Assist the team in learning and leading with new technologies.
- Assist Management in developing new sales strategies for new markets.
- Maintain positive working relationships with staff and company managers as well as all customers
- Actively promote safety and the enforcement of safety rules and policies, including the proper disposal of hazardous waste or scrap parts and materials
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma : Tech school, military equivalent or other relevant related experience, EE, PQE Preferred
- 2-10 years in Stationary Power / Critical Power Sales preferred
- Demonstrated useful knowledge in Critical / Stationary Power products and their applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions regarding technical issues found at customers sites.
- Understanding of Single Phase and Three Phase Power, DC Power, Chargers and Service
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
