Overview
This position is an intermediate-level project manager position responsible for the management and delivery of projects within scope, budget and on schedule.
The project manager must have excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills and will report directly to the Director of the Program Management Office.
The Project Manager in this position will work across lines of business of the County's Departments and Offices based on project assignments.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of Planning, Executing, and Overseeing medium to large scale projects to completion.
- Evidence of managing projects using various project management methodologies to deliver medium or large-scale projects.
- Project Management Certification- PMP, PMI-ACP., is a plus or working towards Project Management certification.
- Experience in Project Lifecycle Management, Change Control, Risk, and Issue Management.
- Experience producing status reports and dashboards to communicate project progress.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage work across multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong leadership skills; lead project meetings with stakeholders and working teams to execute project delivery.
- Strong writing and communication skills and ability to present information effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in Project Management software (i.e., Microsoft Application Suite : Project, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).
Education
- BS / BA degree from an accredited four-year college, university, or technical school.
- Master's Certification / Degree in project management a plus, not required.
