We are seeking a dedicated andexperienced Emergency Dispatch Center Supervisor to oversee theoperations of our Medical Emergency Dispatch and CommunicationsCenter.
This onsite role is critical in ensuring efficient andeffective responses to emergency calls while leading a team ofdispatchers in highpressure situations.

Expectations :
Lead andmentor a team of emergency dispatchers providing guidance supportand training to ensure optimal performance during highpressuresituations.
Oversee the daytoday operations of thedispatch center ensuring efficient allocation of resourcesadherence to protocols and timely responses toemergencies.
Manage staffing schedules equipmentmaintenance and inventory to ensure seamless operations andreadiness to respond to emergencies at all times.
Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy efficiencyand compliance with established procedures andregulations.
Foster strong relationships with governmentemployees emergency response agencies law enforcement firedepartments and medical personnel to facilitate effectivecommunication and coordination during emergencies.
Ensureaccurate maintenance of daily timekeeping entered byemployees.
Participate in the recruitment hiring andonboarding of new call center staff as needed.
Createreports and liaise with various stakeholders to brief on the statusof the contract and any risks that may arise.
Performother duties and responsibilities as assigned bymanagement.
Requirements :
3years of strong leadership experience.
6 years ofprofessional experience working with military and defensecustomers.
1 year of responsible work experience as anemergency or nonemergency dispatcher / call center operator publicsafety officer security military or healthcare services or relevantwork experience using tworadio communication.
Ability towork well under pressure.
Proficiency in standardcomputer operations including proficient typing skills.
Knowledge of logs reports and filing procedures necessary foroperator logging and documentation.
Familiarity withcoordinating the work of the E911 center with installationwideemergency services and related offices.
Basic knowledgeof emergency medical techniques and procedures sufficient to relayappropriate information to callers and emergency responseteams.
Ability to quickly analyze information given overthe telephone in emergency situations.
Strong oralcommunication skills to interact effectively with a variety ofindividuals in emergency situations.
PhysicalRequirements :
Normal office environmentmobility including sitting walking bending stooping standing andlifting a maximum of 25 pounds (greater than 25 pounds requires atwoperson lift).
Normal office dexterity includingreaching handling grasping typing / keyboard and phoneuse.
