Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for First Line Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to support the 787 Program based out of North Charleston, South Carolina on Variable Shifts.
Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate One BPS culture, tools, and key performance indicators.

Position Responsibilities :
Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.
F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :
Must be willing to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift)
1+ years of leadership experience directing a team in daily operations
5+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :
Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles
Familiar with Boeing Production System (BPS) concepts
Experience with managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
Degree or Certificate in Business, Management, Engineering, IE, PE, Aeronautical Sciences, Technology Field, Project Management or other relevant disciplines
Willing to travel 10% of the time

Summary pay range : $96,900 - $131,100
