Banyan Treatment Centers is recruiting a full-time Admissions Coordinator to join the Admissions team in Pompano Beach, FL.
The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for responding to inquiries from individuals seeking treatment at our substance abuse and mental health facility.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong computer proficiency, the ability to work well in a team, and a genuine desire to help others.
Position Details :
- Schedule : Full-time, must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Location : On-site presence required in Pompano Beach, FL.

Essential functions :
- Receive inbound calls, chat submissions, and email inquiries.
- Conduct clinical pre-screenings with potential patients to assess their needs.
- Maintain conversations and practice active listening while completing basic data entry.
- Provide compassionate, knowledgeable answers to questions about treatment and the admissions process.
- Utilize software to verify insurance online and review private pay options.
- Maintain confidentiality with each potential patient.
- Establish and maintain successful working relationships.
- Maintain composure in a high-volume department and assist team members.
Skills & Abilities :
- Competence in working with multiple computer systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Self-motivated and capable of being a valuable team asset.
- Ability to relate to and show compassion for patients and their loved ones seeking treatment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Ability to respect and maintain sensitive and confidential information.
