SUMMARY

The HR Consultant II plays a critical role in supporting the HR department by assisting with various Human Resources related projects, and operational functions related to HRIS Workday implementation, HR data analytics administration, internal HR Operations audits and overall HR operations compliance projects.

This position reports to the Director, HR Operations and Compliance with a dotted reporting to Associate Director, HRIS & Technology, or another management personnel that the President of the Company may designate.

This position is located in Irvine and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm or 9 : 00am to 6 : 00pm local time.

This position is expected to travel up to 0-05% of the time.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance and Reporting :

Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Conduct HR audits (monthly, quarterly and annually) as assigned.

Compile comprehensive reports derived from polling questions, studies, or surveys, offering valuable insights to support decision-making processes.

Assist in generating HR reports and metrics for leadership review.

Craft impactful PowerPoint presentations that align with the Qcells Brand and take

ownership of editing presentations for other teams, ensuring consistency and quality before distribution.

Employee Records Management :

Works with HR Operations Compliance and HRIS teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) databases.

Handle confidential information and ensure data security and compliance with privacy

regulations.

HRIS Testing and Implementation :

Support HR Operations and HRIS teams during Workday and ADP Implementation testing phases of new HRIS systems roll out to ensure functionality, managing project timelines and data accuracy.

Support the implementation of HRIS upgrades and new modules as assigned.

Collaborate with the HRIS team, IT department and stakeholders to , gather requirements, define project objectives, troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for HR department as needed.

Provide training and support to HR department including updating user manuals and training materials

Collaborate with HR team SME on implementation progress to ensure projects are delivered on timeAssist with HRIS team to support HR department on technical issues with ongoing support to end users, addressing any issues or concerns.

General Administrative Support :

Provide administrative assistance to the HR team, including filing, scanning, data entry, scheduling meetings and managing calendars.

Manage HR documentation and maintain accurate and organized records.

Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance as needed.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or another related field

Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.

Experience with internal communication platforms and tools, such as intranets, and email systems.

Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.

Familiarity with HR practices and policies, including employee engagement, talent acquisition, and employer branding.

Proficiency in using marketing and design tools, such as Powerpoint, social media management platforms, and content management systems.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Willingness to take on new task and adjust work priorities to accommodate other urgent needs.

Experience in managing HRIS implementation projects ( Workday and ADP)

Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is preferred.

SALARY RANGE FOR POSITION

The anticipated starting pay range of this position, which is to be located in Irvine, CA is $38.50 - $52.50 per hour.

The above-listed salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, geographic location, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.

An additional discretionary bonus structure or incentives may be offered as part of the overall compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
