Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Director of TikTok Marketing to lead our TikTok strategy across multiple CPG and eCommerce brands.
This role will be pivotal in managing and optimizing TikTok ad campaigns, developing a robust content creation internship program, and driving significant growth in brand engagement and follower base on TikTok.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of TikTok's advertising ecosystem, a proven track record in influencer marketing, and the ability to lead a growing team dedicated to maximizing the platform's potential.
Key Responsibilities :
TikTok Ad Campaign Management :
- Plan, execute, and optimize TikTok ad campaigns across multiple brands, focusing on performance and ROI.
- Leverage TikTok's latest ad placements and initiatives to stay ahead of competitors and maximize reach.
- Collaborate closely with TikTok ad representatives and internal stakeholders to gain insights and access to new features, tools, and promotions.
Content Creation Internship Program :
- Develop and oversee a scalable internship program aimed at producing consistent, high-quality TikTok content.
- Achieve a target of 500 unique, high-quality TikTok videos produced monthly through the internship program.
- Ensure a minimum of 100 active unpaid interns producing content within the first 6 months.
Creator Rewards Program :
- Design and implement a rewards program to incentivize content creators to engage with and promote products.
- Launch the rewards program with a participation rate of 75% among content creators within the first 3 months.
Creative Strategy & Content Development :
- Develop and implement creative strategies for TikTok content that align with brand goals and resonate with target audiences.
- Monitor and analyze successful campaigns from other brands and apply insights to our content creation process.
- Work with the marketing team and external creators to produce high-quality user-generated content (UGC), creator-generated content (CGC), and influencer campaigns.
Creator Outreach Expansion :
- Expand the creator outreach team size by 50% within the first 6 months.
- Recruit, train, and lead a growing team dedicated to building relationships with TikTok influencers and content creators.
Engagement and Follower Growth :
- Maintain an average engagement rate of 15% across all TikTok content.
- Drive a 200% increase in TikTok followers within the first 12 months.
- Generate at least 3 viral hashtags per quarter with over 1 million uses each.
- Facilitate at least 5 collaborative TikTok campaigns per quarter with other brands or creators.
Cross-Platform Integration :
- Ensure 75% cross-promotion of TikTok content across other social platforms.
- Strategize and execute content ideas and product features that are likely to go viral, leveraging TikTok’s unique platform dynamics.
Budget Management & Optimization :
- Take ownership of campaign budgets, proactively adjusting spend based on performance metrics and KPIs to optimize results.
- Generate a campaign ROI of at least 300% on all TikTok marketing initiatives.
Analytics & Reporting :
- Regularly track and analyze campaign performance, using data to drive continuous improvement and optimization.
- Provide detailed reports and insights to the Marketing Managers / Directors and CMO, highlighting key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement.
Role Requirements :
- Proven experience in social media marketing, with a focus on TikTok.
- Experience in developing and managing internship or similar training programs.
- Demonstrated success in growing social media followings and engagement.
- Strong understanding of influencer marketing and creator management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with data analytics and performance tracking.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a marketing team.
- High degree of self-motivation and the ability to inspire others.
