- Set up and oversee daily banquet operations to ensure high-quality service and smooth events.
- Independently read, understand, and execute banquet event orders (BEOs).
- Meet and stay accessible to the on-site contact, addressing requests, questions, or complaints promptly.
- Handle administrative tasks like closing checks, scheduling staff, and ordering supplies.
- Set up function spaces, check room layouts, assign tasks, and oversee cleanup, including the storage of linens, food, equipment, and decor.
- Communicate regularly with sales, kitchen, and other departments for seamless events.
- Maintain health and sanitation standards.
- Monitor and report on the physical condition of banquet facilities and equipment for maintenance.
- Maintain consumption sheets throughout events.
- Train, evaluate, and coach staff to meet cultural and service standards.
- Step into food and beverage roles as needed during downtime, like hosting, busing, or bartending.
- Keep service and storage areas clean and organized.
- Attend management meetings as requested.
Requirements :
- 5 years of relevant experience or a combination of experience and training that provides the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Skilled in all areas of banquet service.
- Proven leadership, training abilities and the motivational skills necessary to run a team.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of Audio-Visual setup and operation.
- Ability to enforce the Alcohol Awareness Policy.
- Ability to occasionally lift to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for extended periods and engage in activities like walking, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Capable of extensive walking throughout the shift.
- Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, lift, twist, and move items at varying angles.

- MAST Alcohol Permit (Class 12)
