Position Summary
Position will inspect product according to specification and standards. Documents non conformances and work with associates to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct audits and analyze data to identify corrective and preventive improvements
- Conduct 8D and 5Why investigations of issues
- Read and interpret the requirements of drawings.
- Analyze drawing requirements and make sound determination(s) of the appropriate inspection method / equipment to be used for product acceptance.
- Use inspection equipment (ID / OD mics, calipers, various other gages) in determining product acceptance.
- Initiate and complete all quality (Inspection) related records and documents with minimal supervision
Experience and Skill Required
- A minimum of 3 years of Quality experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing setting.
- Basic knowledge of ASME-Y14.5 (Geometric Tolerance) and ability to apply / inspect to requirements with minimal supervision.
- Able to lift 30lbs
- Ability to support PPAP's and Control Plans.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience with SAP MRP system preferred but not required.
- Experience with FM and UL inspection documentation desired but not required.
