Yes Job Type Full-Time Working Hours Position Summary Roosevelt University’s College of Pharmacy, seeks candidates for a full-time 12-month
teaching faculty position in Pharmacology at the Assistant Professor rank.
Position responsibilities include teaching pharmacology within the required curriculum
concentrated in the Integrated Sequence course series, serving as course coordinator as
assigned by the Chair of Teaching, offering didactic and research electives, and
additional teaching as assigned by the Chair.
The candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an extramurally funded research
program and collaborate with other faculty of the college and university. All faculty at Roosevelt University College of Pharmacy must provide service in the following areas : as role models and advisors for students, service on College and university committees and professional and community service.
The position is a tenure-track appointment. Individuals with a passion for the profession

Preferred Qualifications A background in pharmacy is preferred but not required.
Two years’ experience in research or in teaching pharmacology, physiology or related biomedical subjects in a professional program (Pharmacy, Medicine).
The successful candidate must possess detailed and comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology, demonstrate effective communication skills, a record of excellence in didactic teaching, a commitment to research and interest in engaging in College and University faculty governance.
The candidate will demonstrate a commitment to professional collaboration within and external to the College. Equipment Operated Working Conditions Classroom and lab setting.
