Work Schedule :

This is a full time, 100% FTE position. Scheduled shifts will be 8 : 30 am 5 : 00 pm with a weekend rotation and occasional evenings.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist / Senior Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - Adult Endocrinology to :

• Acquire and interpret blood sugar data from continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps and meters and make recommendations such as dietary, pump, medications and lifestyle.
• Optimize diet for diabetes management, reduction in insulin resistance, PCOS, Osteoporosis, weight management
• Provide instruction and precept dietetic interns through UW didactic program in ambulatory setting
• Participate in collaborative care team environment within
• Provide nutrition counseling grounded in motivational interviewing

Education :

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or related field

Preferred Master’s Degree in Nutrition or related field

Work Experience :

Minimum One (1) year of clinical and nutrition related experience

Preferred Two (2) years of clinical and nutrition related experience

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum -

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Certification / Licensure as required by the State of Wisconsin

Preferred

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Certified Dietitian in the State of Wisconsin
• Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) or Board Certified-Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM)
