Strong Hearts in Buffalo, NY is looking for a qualified Front of House manager to join our 30 person strong team. We are a high-volume, all-vegan restaurant located at 295 Niagara Street on the lower west side of Buffalo.

Responsibilities
- Organizes, directs, and monitors daily activities of front of house staff.
- Ensures efficient, friendly, and professional customer service.
- Observes front of house staff to ensure that established procedures are followed.
- Establishes procedures, prepares and coordinates staff schedules, and expedites workflow.
- Ensures all necessary reports and forms are completed daily.
- Monitors the company’s POS systems and is well versed in maintaining them.
- Assists company ownership with marketing efforts, advertising, and social media.
- Performs front of house staff responsibilities as needed.
- Acts as a liaison between FOH staff and management / ownership.
- Ensures that customers’ needs are fulfilled and their visit is an exceptional experience.
- Assists front of house staff with resolution of customer problems / complaints as needed.
- Monitors and maintains the front of house area.
- Orders and maintains inventory on items used in the front of house.
- Ensures that the dining room and entry area are clean, maintained, and presentable.
- Reviews the performance of subordinates on a regular basis and gives constructive feedback.
- Ensures FOH staff are knowledgeable and thoroughly trained on menu offerings and company history and values.
- Works closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of services to customers.
- Communicates directly with customers to resolve complaints and receive feedback.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management / ownership.
Qualifications
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience : One to two years of related leadership experience.
- Working knowledge of vegan food and lifestyle preferred.
The position requires a commitment of approximately 40-45 hours per week. Morning, afternoon, evening, and night availability is required.
Compensation includes pooled tips. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Available shifts and compensation : We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $19.00 - $23.00 / hour.
