Human Resource Coordinator- Menlo Park

DAYS / HOURS : part time

Mademoiselle Colette is a woman-owned French Patisserie growing and extending our business in the Silicon Valley. We pride ourselves on providing warm friendly service and focus on the quality and freshness of our food and pastries.

We use the highest quality ingredients, focusing on organic and natural products when possible. We serve breakfast and lunch, viennoiseries, pastries, delicious salads, open-faced sandwiches, fresh baked breads and coffee and espresso.

We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator with a passion for authentic French bread, viennoiseries and pastries to join our awesome team of professionals on a part-time basis.

POSITION SUMMARY :

As an HR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and guiding qualified candidates through the interview process for all positions.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and assist in the onboarding process.
  • Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS.
  • Assist in benefits administration and support employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate employee training programs and development initiatives.
  • Support performance management processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO / Owner and contribute to various HR projects.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or experience).
  • 2-4 years of experience in HR or related roles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • A desire to grow your HR skillset and careers
  • Must be familiar with California labor law

Preferred Qualifications :

  • SHRM Certification
  • Experience with handling conflict and mediating workplace conversations
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Familiarity with Homebase and Gusto

Hourly range : 32$-37$
