Foreman / Superintendent What You Will Do
You will be responsible for managing the on-site operations and crew on sewer, water, storm drain and fire underground construction projects.
You will :
- Directly oversee, train and mentor field personnel coordinate lead and manage field crews
- Communicate with project managers, general contractor and other third parties to ensure on time projects
- Calculate and set grades and elevations using a laser and or floliner
- Perform project take-offs and calculations
- Perform team safety meetings
- Adhere to safety standards at all times including OHSA safe practices and company guidelines
You will work on-site on jobs sites throughout Southern California (limited overnight travel), with an anticipated schedule 7am to 3 : 30pm depending on the job site.
You will be provided with a company vehicle.
Foreman / Superintendent You Must Have (Requirements) :
You Have :
- Experience leading field teams (hands on management and career development / mentorship)
- Prior experience reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans
- Passion for construction you want to work with a long-term team where you can continue to grow and be a part of company ownership through the ESOP
- Clean driving record / able to drive a company vehicle
- Experience in underground construction, wet utilities (sewer, water, fire, storm drain), trenching (strongly desired)
- OSHA certifications (confined space, CPR, competent person) (strongly desired)
Foreman / Superintendent - Benefits for YOU
Your compensation Foreman $38 to $54 per hour, Superintendent $51 to $74 per hour ($70,000 to $150,000 before overtime and additional bonuses!!!) hourly plus potential for overtime for all hours over 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week (some overtime is anticipated).
Plus annual incentive compensation potential. We evaluate compensation for merit increases MONTHLY.
