Engineering Manager
We are engaged in a high priority search for an Engineering Manager who will lead the development, growth, and execution of the engineering team within the plant.
Our client is an Automotive supplier with capabilities in molding, painting, and assembly.
Newly created position in 2 facilities. Locations in NW Ohio and Northern Indiana - Relocation Provided (Posted in larger cities for exposure)*
Responsibilities :
- Leading a team primarily consisting of manufacturing engineering type personnel, focused on Plant level efficiencies and improvements.
- Define, source, and implement new technologies, materials, and equipment
- Provide expertise in best practices to improve the overall plant operations
- Manage supporting activities for Engineering and Manufacturing, including 5S and Lean manufacturing activities, material handling improvements, production line configuration, and safety procedures.
- Aid sales in cost estimation and feasibility of new products
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or ten years of relevant work experience is required.
- 5 years of engineering leadership experience in an automotive environment
- Strong understanding of advanced practices in plastic injection molding.
- Experience in Injection Molding, Painting, and Assembly of components preferred
- Visa sponsorship for work authorization not available
