Summary : The position of Housekeeper is to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of customers' residences. Specific duties include but are not limited to cleaning and dusting household living spaces, mopping and vacuuming, emptying trash, washing dishes, cleaning bathroom fixtures, making beds, replenishing linens, doing laundry and ironing and folding.

• Be consistent and punctual. Plan to arrive at the client site 10 minutes prior to the appointment time. Be accessible by phone during work hours and respond to work schedule requested changes quickly via phone, text or email.
• Wash windows, wall ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
• Change and launder linens.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces.
• Vacuum and mop.
• Dispose of trash
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Clean inside appliances. Not limited to refrigerators, ovens, washers / dryers.
• Provide outstanding customer service always.
• Show consistent strong organization in all aspects of your job. Arrive at the job fully prepared to start work.
• Use company approved cleaning supplies. Make sure supplies are well stocked and in good condition.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and practices.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Travel :

No Travel is expected for this position.

Changing location to get to another building might be required during working hours. Traveling may include walking, taking public transportation, taking a cab, Uber, Lyft (cost of travel from one building to another during working hours is paid by The Company).

Education / Experience :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of two years of housekeeping experience (hotel and / or home), required.

Language Ability :

Ability to speak Spanish language.

Ability to read and interpret documents in English language such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
