What's a typical day as a Supply Chain Planner? You'll be :
- Monitoring assigned trays for customer usage and submitting EMU revisions for approval.
- Reviewing component deliveries and issuing components that just arrived.
- Reviewing ratios of assigned trays on the CPS report to release, cancel, or reschedule production orders.
- Coordinating all activities related to the planning of assigned finished goods.
- Evaluating raw material availability and communicating component requirements with purchasing.
- Advising team members and / or leadership on recommended substitutions when primary components are not available.
- Scheduling finished goods trays and coordinating communication with production to meet customer demand.
- Leading or participating in cross-functional teams to improve processes and working relationships.
- Coordinating shipment methods to maintain supply in a cost-effective manner.
- Maintaining accurate data in the ERP system.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Have three to five years of experience in planning and scheduling or a related field.
- Are proficient in using Microsoft Excel
- Have experience in a medical supply / components production environment.
- Have knowledge of medical supplies / components and the manufacturing / production of medical trays.
