A Typical Day in the Life of a Product Costing Systems Manager at DSG :

• Develop and implement automated costing analysis for new and existing products.
• Lead initiatives to integrate advanced automation tools and software to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and product development teams to gather and analyze data relevant to product costing.
• Manage and mentor the costing product management team, ensuring high performance and alignment with strategic goals.
• Conduct regular presentations of cost analysis and automation reports to senior management, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
• Stay informed of industry trends, competitor strategies, and technological advancements in costing methodologies.
• Continuously improve costing processes through innovative automation solutions.
• Perform other job responsibilities as needed.

A Successful Product Costing Systems Manager Typically Has :

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost management within the supply industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Extensive experience with costing automation tools and software.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a history of managing successful teams.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software.
