Compensation :
$37,000 - $50,000 annually
Responsibilities :
Create detailed technical drawings such as layout, grading, erosion and sediment control; stormwater management plans; road, water, sewer drain plans;
landscape, hardscape, and forest conservation plans using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and modify designs to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide support in project planning and coordination to meet deadlines.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for all design projects.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED; CAD certification or 2-year CAD degree.
- 5 years of previous work experience in the preparation of site construction drawings.
- Proficient with AutoCAD or MicroStation software.
- Ability to self-manage tasks / projects.
- Proficient with DMW CAD standards and procedures including file saving protocols and proper use of level lists and reference files or have a clear understanding within 90 days.
- Must have a strong ability to pay attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing work assignments and multiple priorities.
