Additional Information About the Role BJC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their plan, design, and construction team.

This position will serve as a team lead and oversee large-scale projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project is required.

PD&C provides professional support for system-wide comprehensive strategic facility plans for the various campuses within BJC.

Providing integrated design planning the group brings process excellence and standardization in planning including a reliable estimating, scheduling and cost forecasting system.

They serve as educators for their customers bringing strong resources to the system, and reviewing all efforts with an eye towards environmental impact.

The department provides the necessary selection, contracting, supervision, management and leadership of system-wide program management services for capital design and construction projects.

They are accountable for developing, implementing and maintaining the policies, procedures and systems supporting capital projects executed to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction and increase the productivity and financial results of all BJC facilities.

The department also provides leadership and technical direction in the development of program control, benchmarking and measurement standards that meet the demands of the strategic needs of BJC HealthCare Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Provides the necessary leadership, supervision, direction, coordination and management control for planning, design and construction projects in a manner that is consistent with and meets the demands of the strategic needs of the BJC HealthCare.

Responsibilities Develops, executes and manages the planning, design and construction process for a portfolio of small to large size programs.

Leads and directs project teams through the interpretation, development and implementation stage of each design and construction project.

Manages the scope and schedule of capital projects. Ensures educational, compliance and regulatory requirements are met as they relate to technical performance, contract administration, minority and women business enterprise participation, quality standards, substance abuse and interim life, safety, and infection control initiatives.

Manages individual(s) including but not limited to : hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans.

Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet / support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.

Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and / or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
