As our market sectors and services grow, we continuously add new opportunities. Will you join us? Responsibilities The Electrical Designer will work directly with design engineers to produce drawings from sketches, existing drawings and electronic images.
- Design drawings based on written and verbal descriptions from design engineers; Set up new Revit projects based on existing project templates;
- Develop Electrical construction documentation under supervision of assigned engineering, design, and BIM staff utilizing primarily Revit;
- Develop Electrical construction models in Revit as part of a BIM team; Create detailed field installation drawings and fabrication drawings;
- Work from both customer and firm drawings; Perform file management functions such as posting models, downloading model updates, managing links, and Revit drafting;
Provide technical support for existing projects and field service; Attend coordination meetings, communicate with other trades, and create / extract reports as required.
- Qualifications Two-year Technical or Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting / Construction Technology, Electrical Technology, or similar with knowledge of current CAD and BIM;
- platforms, or an equivalent combination of education and Electrical trade experience; A minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical drafting;
- Working knowledge of Revit and Microsoft Office; Demonstrate knowledge or interest on MEP systems and their installation, with an emphasis on Electrical installations preferred;
Possess an understanding of drawing and modeling organization, detail, and precision; Positive attitude and a proven collaborator.
Base Compensation : $75,000 - $100,000 (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skills and / or location) At Page, we offer Health Care, Vision, Dental, Life, Travel, and Disability Plans, paid time off, matching 401(k) Retirement Plan, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) plus eligibility to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
