Our client isseeking a skilled Sales & Use TaxAnalyst to join their finance team in Waukesha WI.This role is essential for ensuring compliance with sales and usetax regulations managing exemption certificates assisting withaudits and maintaining accurate tax records.
Youll work closelywith crossfunctional teams and external contacts to manage taxcompliance and resolve any taxrelatedissues.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Prepareand file monthly use tax returns and performreconciliations.
- Maintain exemption certificatesoftware and manage the tax determinationapplication.
- Assist with governmental sales anduse tax audits and ensure compliance.
- Conducttechnical research and document findings to support taxpositions.
- Identify and resolve tax exposuresand respond to inquiries from the taxdepartment.
- Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to ensure accurate tax reporting andcompliance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or a relatedfield.
- 3 years ofsales and use tax experience in Corporate Tax orPublic Accounting.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment ispreferred.
- Proficiency with OneSource Tax Determination andCompliance .
- Familiarity with certificate managementsoftware .
- Proficiency in SAP CCH or other tax research tools and MicrosoftOffice (Excel WordOutlook).
