PRINCIPLE CHOICE SOLUTIONS IT Technical Lead POSITION PURPOSE The IT Technical Lead will oversee the technical aspects of IT projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
This role involves leading a team of IT professionals, collaborating with leadership, and providing technical expertise to drive innovation and efficiency.
Additionally, the IT Technical Lead will offer direct technical support to executive leadership, ensuring their technology needs are met promptly and effectively.
ORGANIZATION This position reports to the IT Support Manager. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Provide technical guidance and support to the team, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring best practices are followed.
Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions while communicating to the IT Manager.
Provide direct technical support to executive leadership, addressing their technology needs and ensuring seamless operation of their devices and applications.
Assist executives with the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software. Ensure the highest level of confidentiality and security when handling executive technology issues.
Understanding of security assessments and standards around NIST 800-171 or 800-053 control sets. Monitoring of the ticketing board, and prioritizing escalations within the team.
Ownership and addressing escalated technical items as they arise within the team. Provide On-Call support as necessary. All other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to communicate both orally and written.
In Depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including Azure AD and all administrative capabilities. Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
1-year prior management experience required. MACHINES & EQUIPMENT The incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system, cloud architecture, telephone system, and other office machines such as a copier.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
WORKING CONDITIONS The incumbent works in an office environment that is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or extreme noise.
Routine periods of being on the phone utilizing a headset, sitting and data keying are required. Periodic times working at the office site may be required.
Security and privacy training will be provided as part of this role to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of PCS’ associate and customer data.
